It's Smita — Smita Kundargi <ksmita at pdx.edu>.   I shoudl get her to add herself to the mailing lists.

GUnit would be the name, in parallel with SUnit, JUnit, HUnit, etc etc.  Grunt has entirely the wrong connotation.

One other thing occurred to me wrt her tasks.  We have previously agreed that we needed an immutable string package.  I could start her off by asking her to do that.  I have a version in AspectJ and a version in Fortress — afaik the Fortress version has been in production use for about four years now.  Or is someone else working on that?
