Other ideas for naming the (thing generated by the)  […] constructor:

a run — captures the idea of sequentiality, but not indexability
a series — similar, but has implications of arithmetic or geometric series, ie, computed by a rule
a lineup — well, the items are indeed in a line
a chain — perhaps implies linked storage, so probably less good than any of the above.
