* We had the usual fun with Skype! Are there any other / better teleconference tools?

* Jan talked about his interpreter, that works with the C backend.
  It's not in the mainline yet, but...

* terminology for types

From the outside: public type
From the inside (type of self): complete type
From subclasses (type of super): heir  type

* graphics
 - Kim ask - is Processing still available, how do I get it?
 - Kim is after graphics & threads that will be reasonably reliable.

* threads
 - Kim would like to write a threads library or range of concurrency dialects
 - where is it best to do that: C backend or JavaScript?
 - how tricky to get something going on C backend?   Pseudothreading? 

* GUnit
 - andrew is refactoring it...

* documentation / blog
 - should feed stuff to the blog; 
 - should make documentation more visible than just in the tarball...

* Next week *proposed time*: 
 we originally suggested   Tuesday 2 Oct US vs Wednesday 3 Oct NZ,
