talked about Graceful Dialects paper:
- need to annotate papers with reviewers comments  (andrew has started)
- need to make small fixes
- need better examples
-    particularly typechecker 
- separate "examples of dialects" from "writing new dialects" sections 

NZ Summer projects: 
  (contracts start on Monday 18th) 
* Craig Forret & Scott Weston- finishing 2nd year - start with Strings, then Collections 
* Alex Sandilands & David Saxon - also finished 3rd year -  2D graphics, then sound, then 3D 

other people doing stuff:

Tim - type checker! 
Jameson - working with Andrew on debugging (for Javascript)
Kim - has people working on Dr Racket
